Over one hundred participants have already registered on our website. Our family of young biomedical engineers and enthusiasts is growing!

UTommy

Hello! After long and very difficult conversations about focusing on one target (problem) we have finally chosen one. The problem is to solve a condition of pain or relieve  the joint of a knee. Our idea is to make something that is similiar to an orthesis which will, as I said before, relieve the joint and ease the pain of the knee-joint. Wait for our words that will help you better understand what is our goal. I hope they get here soon!!!

UTommy selecting the problem

 Hi everybody!

Recently we have been voting for each idea and we have chosen two of them. Now we are trying to make our decision which to take. It's a really hard part and i think the hardest one of all because from this decision it will all go on. I've almost forgotten. Merry Christmas!!!

UTommy's first words

 Polish team has just started!

We had a conversation with our mentor 2 days ago and we were informed to choose the target (problem) which we will try to solve in the Telemach Project. We have just started thinking which of our ideas suits the project best. When we will finally choose one we will describe it to judges and in shorter way to you. Wait for a next subscribe!

Our progress in the U.S.

Last week, on Tuesday (9/14), I met with Jim Connor, who is the head of Germantown Academy (GA), a school in Fort Washington, PA.  GA is  one of the oldest schools in the US (over 250 years) and has a long history of academic excellence.  It is also my alma matter.  Jim expressed strong interest in project Telemach and said that the students have performed in group science competitions in the past.  I will speak with him this week to set up a time for me to go meet with the students.  If all goes well, we will hopefully have found our inaugural US team.
